Christmas and Gangsta Party

This last week we had a Christmas party and a Gangster party. The Christmas party was for the ward. We had dinner catered and made gingerbread houses. The gangster party was for Artem, who got his mission call to Oakland California. Everyone told him there will be gangsters everywhere trying to get him, so we had a party for him. Doug, his roommate and our other home teacher, also got engaged this last week so that party was kind of for them too. It didn't really work out though because Lisa had to work so she didn't even make it to the party. We will probably do something for them later. Brant's birthday is today. I don't know what we are doing but we will probably be partying again tonight. I think this is like the busiest week of the year so far. I have a final that I have to take today as well. I'm kinda glad to get it over with before finals week, but at the same time... I really don't want to take it. Oh well, not a whole lot I can do about that. Speaking of that final, it's about time to go study for it.

Haunted Forest and Scavenger Hunt

Here are some pictures of forever ago at the Haunted Forest with the Dahlin family. Also, I went on a triple date tonight with Brent, Eric and Kimberlee and Mark and Elizabeth from the ward. We did a picture scavenger hunt all around town. We lost, but, it was me and Brent against Eric, Kim, Mark and Liz. It was a lot of fun, Eric was so nervous though because he asked Kim and Kim didn't realize it was a date at first, so he was all nervous that she didn't actually want to go. I think it went quite well though... not very date-like, but it was good! Oh, the picture of all of us on the slide was from when Hannah visited over Thanksgiving break. She wasn't even in the picture, sad.

Extra Pictures

Here are some left over pictures from recent activities. Some of them are from our cooking contest, we won by the way with my amazing taco soup and our amazing apple/spice cake concoction by Kimberlee. The last one of David and Kimberlee is from last night and our ice cream outing. Good times. Kimberlee and I had some good times singing at the piano. She is definately my favorite roommate.

Temple Square

Here are our pretty pictures from when we went to the Christmas Devotional tonight. It was a really good devotional and the lights on temple square were amazing, even though it was freezing outside. That is pretty much all we did today, besides church and a nice Sunday nap. I also went to the doctor today and he took pictures of my break out again. I'm on medicine again because I'm breaking out with the skin lupus again. My favorite picture is the one of the Christus with the kids looking up at it. I was taking the picture and they ran up and started talking to Jesus. It was adorable!

Our Pretty Apartment

I finally found a day where I could clean the apartment and it wouldn't be completely trashed again within a few hours so I took some pictures. It's pretty exciting.

School's almost out!

Only about 2 weeks left until finals week! Yay! I don't think I'm ready for finals, but I'm definately ready to get a nice break from school. I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow, I think the lupus is breaking out again so I want to try to get that under control again. I'm pretty sick of dealing with doctors, hopefully once they get this under control for good I won't have to go as much. I am also going to a Rhuematologist when I get back from Christmas break, so that will be good. I think they are just going to check to make sure the Lupus isn't spreading. Anyways, that's all for now, I have to go read some more of my nasty 400 page book for Comparitive lit.

Long Time...

Well, it's been a really long time since I have posted. That is mostly because I haven't had my computer for about a month. The part in the motherboard that charges the computer was broken so I had to get it fixed. BYU beat Utah today for the first time in 5 years. Exciting huh? The replay was on ESPN as one of the best plays of the day. We were down by four with 9 seconds left and we were on the 10 yard line. Beck threw the pass into the endzone and it was dropped. Leaving us 3 seconds. Beck got the ball again and waited FOREVER to throw it, but Jonny Harline's man had left him wide opening going after John Beck, so Harline caught it and we won by two points. WOO HOO! It was also really really nice to have a break from school this week. It was much needed, but it was too short, only a day left. I feel like it's been maybe three days, max, when I've actually had about a week off. No new results from the doctor yet. I had blood tests done this week to check my liver enzymes in my blood, cause apparently they are doing something weird. The doctor is afraid I have hepatitis of some sort. I'm not sure how that could happen, but they are checking. I had three tubes taken at the hospital this week and I'm supposed to go back for more next week. I would have to admit I'm pretty sick of doctors and hospitals and getting needles stuck into the exact same place in my arm over and over and over. I guess that is all for now. I don't have a whole lot to say even though it has been a few weeks. We've had a few roommate issues but I think they are mostly fixed now. I hope so at least... I guess I'll find out sooner or later if they aren't.

More midterms!

I thought I just finished all my midterms last week and I look at my schedule and they are next week again. I took an essay test yesterday in my comparative lit class, I have a midterm that starts today. I have a final in one of my labs on Monday, where I have to identify 40 some rocks without a list to help me, and Biology and Physical Science midterms next week. Plus all of the other normal school stuff going on and group projects and all that fun educational stuff. Hopefully I will have time to do everything. I guess I will have to make time. Wouldn't it be nice if there were like... 3 more hours in a day. Who knows...

Who's who?

For our ward Halloween party my apartment dressed up as the Who's from How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It was so much fun. I got to do everyone's hair. Angela and Kimberlee both had pop bottles in their hair to make it stick up. We put a hanger in mine, which you will understand when you see the pictures. The The other night we also went and watched a movie at Brent and Angela's cousins' house. They have a theater room. It was really nice. We also played pool, ping pong, fuseball, and catch phrase for like... three hours. Zac got to live out his dream and chase a deer down their driveway. It was a lot of fun. I'm doing a lot better as well. This has been a good week although I have a pretty severe headache this morning. I've also discovered a new way to put pictures online. I'm not quite sure how to link it to this page yet, but I will work on it.

We take way too many pictures!

I LOVE my roommates! They are so amazing and so much fun! I'm such a lucky person to have such an amazing support group, especially this year when there is a little bit of a need for it with everything I have going on in my life right now. Today was another good day though... we had ward conference. Our bishop spoke about Hope and how to have a more perfect brightness of hope. His brother is actually in the first quorum of the 70 and you can tell because he has an amazing spirit. Our stake president also gave a really good talk. After church I did a little napping and a lot of visiting teaching. I got taught twice, once by Jessica's teachers and once by mine and then I went and did my visiting teaching. After that we had dinner and watched the movie Clue. It was a funny movie. Oh, Kimberlee played chubby bunny today for the first time ever. She had never even heard of it! It was hilarious. Also, our apartment decided we were going to be the who's for Halloween from the movie The Grinch who stole Christmas. Kimberlee got all excited and "fixed" Jessica's hair all pretty. Jessica didn't agree with the idea so much. :)

Oh Yeah!!

Oh yeah, p.s. we totally won our football game today. The score was 52-7 and we played UNLV. I felt kinda bad for them. It got kinda boring after a while but there were some really good plays. We had an 87 yard touchdown. Amazing! Those are always tons of fun because everyone gets into it. Here are some pictures from that part of my day.
