Who's who?

For our ward Halloween party my apartment dressed up as the Who's from How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It was so much fun. I got to do everyone's hair. Angela and Kimberlee both had pop bottles in their hair to make it stick up. We put a hanger in mine, which you will understand when you see the pictures. The The other night we also went and watched a movie at Brent and Angela's cousins' house. They have a theater room. It was really nice. We also played pool, ping pong, fuseball, and catch phrase for like... three hours. Zac got to live out his dream and chase a deer down their driveway. It was a lot of fun. I'm doing a lot better as well. This has been a good week although I have a pretty severe headache this morning. I've also discovered a new way to put pictures online. I'm not quite sure how to link it to this page yet, but I will work on it.

We take way too many pictures!

I LOVE my roommates! They are so amazing and so much fun! I'm such a lucky person to have such an amazing support group, especially this year when there is a little bit of a need for it with everything I have going on in my life right now. Today was another good day though... we had ward conference. Our bishop spoke about Hope and how to have a more perfect brightness of hope. His brother is actually in the first quorum of the 70 and you can tell because he has an amazing spirit. Our stake president also gave a really good talk. After church I did a little napping and a lot of visiting teaching. I got taught twice, once by Jessica's teachers and once by mine and then I went and did my visiting teaching. After that we had dinner and watched the movie Clue. It was a funny movie. Oh, Kimberlee played chubby bunny today for the first time ever. She had never even heard of it! It was hilarious. Also, our apartment decided we were going to be the who's for Halloween from the movie The Grinch who stole Christmas. Kimberlee got all excited and "fixed" Jessica's hair all pretty. Jessica didn't agree with the idea so much. :)

Oh Yeah!!

Oh yeah, p.s. we totally won our football game today. The score was 52-7 and we played UNLV. I felt kinda bad for them. It got kinda boring after a while but there were some really good plays. We had an 87 yard touchdown. Amazing! Those are always tons of fun because everyone gets into it. Here are some pictures from that part of my day.

Homecoming...

Homecoming was this weekend. We had tons of fun. Jessica and Zac and Mark and Angela, and Brent and I all went together. The guys set up a dinner for us and then took us to a black and white formal dance in Spanish Fork. Afterwards we stopped by Ace's birthday party for a little bit. Tonight we went to dinner, a haunted house, and then we had a bonfire and s'mores in the canyon. It was pretty much an amazing weekend. Here are some pictures to prove it.

Yay!!

Guess what?!?! My rashes are almost all gone. Don't believe me? Look for yourself. Most of you probably never saw the rashes, but here are the pictures of the rash almost completely gone. It makes me so happy!! I can't say a whole lot cause I have to go to class, take a test, go to the pharmacy, have a group project, go car shopping and to FHE tonight so... I have a pretty busy day, but I thought I would share my excitement with everyone!

Fall is Beautiful!!

I LOVE the canyon in the fall. I got to go for a drive up the canyon the other night while the sun was setting and it was AMAZING! I really am falling in love with the mountains. Don't believe me? See for yourself. Today our ward got to go plant flowers on temple square. It was neat, it will be fun to go back in a month and see all our hard work put into place. Unfortunately that is all for now, because my roommate just barely got off the phone so I can go to bed now.

Lupus

For everyone that doesn't know.. I was diagonsed with an acute case of the disease Lupus. It occurs mostly in women ages 19-21. Because of the excess of hormones in women's bodies during this time the immune system can become confused. In this particular case, my immune system is attacking my body and causing rashes to form on my face and arms. Here is a good site that tells a lot about what it actually consists of. www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/lupus.html I am on medication to control the disease so I should be fine, but I will most likely have it for the rest of my life. The rashes should go away though. Other than that piece of news my life is pretty good. I have been at the doctor a lot lately, and had to quit my job. Here are some recent pictures from hanging out. The last few are of the UVSC and University of Utah hockey game. If there was a way for me to tell you who everyone was, I would, but it could get messy because there are so many people in the pictures. Yesterday Mark asked Angela to homecoming by Teepeeing her room and leaving a note that said "If you've got to go, go with me" and she answered him by saying "We've got to go. Let's roll." and she teepeed some trees and stuff outside of his apartment. That is what the other pictures are from. I will be at the doctor all day today. I have to go to the American Fork hospital to get tested for blood clotting which could hurt my heart and then afterwards I have another appointment with the dermatologist to try to clear up my rash so that it doesn't leave scars. He will probably look at my stitches too. They took skin grafts to test. I will get the final results of all the testing today as well. I also have at least one test today, maybe two depending on how I'm feeling. Hopefully I can just do one today, but it isn't looking very promising, I will probably do both of them so that I don't have to pay late fees. Speaking of which, I had better go study for Biology.

More Utah

Here is another pretty picture of Utah. I love the mountains! I'm still a little sick, but I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, yay! I took a test today, that was a three page essay plus the regular test questions. We only had an hour to take the test so I'm a little nervous about how I did. Next week midterms start so things will get a little hectic. I think a bunch of us are going to the battle of the bands tomorrow night though on campus and maybe to a movie afterwards, we will see how it goes.
